Mercy Health Partners, West Shore Cardiology Team Up To Offer High School Students Free Heart Screening Program Program seeks to identify pre-existing heart conditions that could increase student risks
(Muskegon, MI; March 14, 2013) – Mercy Health Partners' (MHP) Heart & Vascular Institute along with West Shore Cardiology will host a free student heart screening for any West Michigan high school student (born between January 1, 1993, and December 31, 1998).
What: Cardiovascular screening to attempt to identify student athletes who may be at increased risk to provoking disease progression or sudden cardiac death due to participation in physical activity or sports competition. The program will include:
