Palliative Care

Palliative care is a collaboration between Mercy Health Partners and Harbor Hospice that provides services to prevent, relieve or reduce the symptoms of a life-limiting illness. The goal of the program is to enhance the patient's quality of life, and to serve as a resource for the patient's family. A team consisting of a medical director, nurse coordinator, pastoral care and social worker combine to provide the needed resources during this stressful time.

When patients begin to approach the end of their illness, our hospice care can make them feel more at ease in their final moments.
