Center for Simulation Excellence

Our Center for Simulation Excellence allows Muskegon-area health professionals to be as prepared as possible for on-the-job situations. Among the settings recreated in our lab are ambulance, infant nursery and living room scenarios — all equipped with the sights and sounds you'd expect to hear in the real world. We also have five high-fidelity training manikins that function almost like humans — blinking, talking, breathing and performing other lifelike functions.

The newly established facility is the result of collaboration between the Muskegon County Medical Control Authority, Region 6 Bio-Defense Network Coalition and the Office of Public Health Preparedness of Michigan Department of Community Health, and Mercy Health Partners.
