Sister Simone Courtade Grant Program
The Sister Simone Courtade Grant Program was created by the Sisters of Mercy to support, strengthen and sustain Mercy Health's mission in the community. The specific intent of the fund is to help poor and underserved residents achieve a better quality of life by improving their health and overall well-being through investment in community programs that address community health needs.
Grant applications will be considered in one of the following two areas:
- Tier I: Programs that directly address community health needs as identified in Mercy Health Muskegon's Community Health Needs Assessment.
- Tier II: Projects that closely align with Mercy Health Muskegon's mission and values, but may not produce clear health outcomes.
All applicants are required to submit a Letter of Intent by April 6, 2015.
Attendance is required for all applicants at one of the following Guidance Sessions, although previous grantees may be excused with prior approval.
- April 22, 2015 from 10:30-12:00 noon at Mercy Health Muskegon, Mercy Campus, Conference Room C.
- April 23, 2015 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm at Mercy Health Muskegon, Mercy Campus, Conference Room B.
The deadline for receipt of submissions is May 29, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. Awardees will be notified in July 2015.
